Does the integration function automatically, or does it require the user to initiate the synchronization?

Yes, Fieldpoint’s integration with CMiC runs automatically. The integration web service runs between Fieldpoint and CMiC bi-directionally every 90 seconds. For example, a posted transaction in Fieldpoint will be automatically visible in CMiC in 15 seconds if the integration service last ran 75 seconds previously.

Are CMiC’s inventory and stock locations functions also viewable within the Fieldpoint mobile application, or just the web portal?

Yes, Fieldpoint makes CMiC’s stock locations and item quantities visible within Fieldpoint’s mobile app interface as well as the web interface.

Does timesheet labor from Fieldpoint impact CMiC?

Yes, timesheet related labor (travel, onsite labor, shop time, training, etc.) is used both for billing/invoicing as well as for processing payroll within CMiC. Most organizations distribute the time entered in Fieldpoint over to CMiC’s E-Time – primarily for the purposes of payroll and time reporting.

License Requirements
